About your trip: What sort of stages have you planned?
I have done 600 Km (400 Miles) a day on my stock Savage with only minor discomfort,
but I suppose it depends if your bum fits the stock saddle or not.
All I changed was - a windscreen stops you getting too tired, and someway of carrying larger luggage.
Mine is a handmade thing. Functional but not very pretty.
The bike will survive it if the oil levels are correct and you don't push her too hard.

There is a restaurant near me run by a welsh guy and he sells good beer and real fish-and-chips!!!!!
